Exchange 2010 Missing Log File Unable To Mount Database
I can telnet to the Exchange server and login as the user, I was even able

to send a test email from my telnet session. When I try to use the same account within Spiceworks I receive a 454 5.7.3 error eseutil current log file missing code. I believe this is because Spiceworks is using spiceworks-noreply@spiceworks.com as the source address to send email. Is there a way to change this? Under that page there is a setting for "Force SMTP Sender", I entered in the account name I was trying to use and BAM! it works perfectly now. I did not have to change the No Reply Email Address. Perhaps you guys could include an option to show advanced settings on the email setup screen in the next version? It might save a few people some time. I am amazed by your product and support, they are both outstanding! 0 This discussion has been inactive for over a year. You may get a better answer to your question by starting a new discussion. It sounds as if there is some other server which is handling the mail between the sender and the recipient which is causing this error - perhaps the ISP's server? 0 LVL 4 Overall: Level 4 Exchange 4 SBS 1 Message Expert Comment by:antioed2008-06-26 Any further details of the error message? Was there a x.x.x SMTP error code as well? Anything different between messages that make it and messages that don't? The 454 is usually an authentication issue so, for instance, an auto-generated email (ie a contact form from a webpage) that does properly authenticate Exchange could yield an error like this. 0 Message Author Comment by:cireduran2008-06-26 The messages are being sent from an external company to our company. When someone at the other company sends us an email. they are getting this error. I didn't think it would
