In a similar situation, another workaround was to shut down the Domino server and execute the following commands on a Microsoft Windows™ server: "nfixup.exe -F names.nsf" "ncompact.exe -c -d -i names.nsf" System i: Another occurrence was tied to a lock on the NAMES.NSF. Running Fixup, Compact, Updall as well as Convert to pubnames.ntf had no impact. Using the RLSIFSLCK command (with the server down) to release IFS locks resolved this error.
