Lotus Error Updating Certifier Id
Question When attempting to recertify a user ID, either via email or through the tools available in the Domino Administrator (Admin Client), you may receive the following error: "Entry not found in index". Answer In this case, the reason for this error was that the server was set to 'Local' in the 'Choose a Certifier' dialog box: Because the server is set to 'Local', the CERTLOG.NSF is unable to be located. Setting this field to the correct server where CERTLOG.NSF is located will prevent this error from occurring. The error may also happen if this field is set to a server that does not have a CERTLOG.NSF database on it. Either create one for that server (choose the CERTLOG.NTF template when selecting File -> Database ->New) or choose another server in the environment with a CERTLOG.NSF in its data directory. R 4.6 and R5 are both no longer supported, time to go to at least R 6.5 I hope this helps ! 0 LVL 2 Overall: Level 2 Message Author Comment by:Swamp_Thing2006-10-30 I have tried all of the above with no result. All of the users in our Cert Log do not expire until 2099. 0 LVL 63 Overall: Level 63 Lotus IBM 28 Message Expert Comment by:SysExpert2006-10-30 I would try replacing the design on the Certifier log.
