Error description Script libraries using/calling other script libraries is essential in building structured and reusable code ( high level library using low level functionality in another library) However, sometimes, when a form and subform call the same script library in the Globals, we can produce an error: "Error process use list module: (Globals) 'SubFormName'" Steps to reproduce using http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1LO40148 customer database: 1. unzip attached db and put in data directory of notes client; 2. open db in notes client 3. Create menu--TestError (Create new doc form TestError RESULTS: Error: "Error process use list module: (Globals) 'SubFormName'" Local fix a.) move "duplicate" subroutine out of script library and into its own script library to prevent dual loading b.) only http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1LO32960 reference the script library in the subform OR form Problem summary This problem was resolved as: No Plans to Fix Ever Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments This APAR is associated with SPR# AKNX7HYTP9. "Error processing use list module: (Globals) sfFinApprovE" This message comes up on the Notes client when a document is being launched. The sub-form is called "sfFinApprovE" and thats where the globals are located. In the globals I have sub-routines that are called by lotus error processing action buttons and the subform got saved without complaints from Notes Designer whatsoever. The document launches OK after acknowledging the error message and there are no other signs of trouble after that. I just don't understand the error message and what can be done about it. I have recreated the subform and I still get the message when opening a document in the Notes client. Help please. Art Return to top Error processing use list module: (...
