Check for Windows mtgo not launching updates - Keeping up to date with Windows updates, including the latest version of the Microsoft .NET Framework, can resolve a number of issues causing crashes or other problems. 1. Go to Control Panel. 2. Click Windows Update. 3. Click Check for Updates and install recommended updates. Antivirus Software - Some antivirus software such as Panda Antivirus can interfere with Magic Online's install process. You may need to temporarily disable that software or mtgo application cannot be started exclude Magic Online from it. Password Management Programs - If you are using a password management program, check your application settings to make sure that it is not automatically attaching to Windows applications. Programs like these can cause serious performance issues with the client. Clean Reinstall - For all other issues, follow the steps below to uninstall Magic Online and perform a clean install. Contact Game Support - If after reinstalling the client you still experience the issue, contact customer support. Clean Installation (Reinstalling): These steps should resolve a wide range of issues including (but not limited to) a bad installation, improperly cached files, or corrupted files. It is important that you follow these steps in order (including restarting your computer) to make sure the cache clearing happens and that the new installation is completely fresh. Uninstall Magic Online Press Windows key + R or go to Start -> Run (or Search -> Run, then Click Run in Windows 8) In the box type: control appwiz.cpl Click “OK” This will pull up a list of installed programs. Scroll down to the “M”s and you should see one or more programs that start with “Magic the Gathering Online”. It should look similar to this: Right click the “Magic the Gathering Online” version and then select “Uninstall/Change” and follow the prompts. Repeat this process until a

You magic online can check Magic Online's server status at http://www.wizards.com/magic/Digital/MagicOnline.aspx Unable to connect to remote server" I've been getting this error message for the past 24 hours or so; it occurs immediately after launching Renamer.exe. Server status seems to be up, and I haven't heard anyone complaining about untimely downtime. My internet hasn't experienced any notable changes recently, and I have no trouble with accessing the internet mtgo error message or playing any other games. I've never had this problem before.
