happening no matter what media I use (I have a mix of AVCHD h.264 and XAVC media, but it happens even on sequences that are exclusively one kind of media, without discrimination). As you can see, I'm not running a ton of apps in the background, and never had the problem before CC2015. EDIT: It seems to happen to me more often when I scrub around a lot in the timeline. Please, no trolling about how this is adobe out of memory error message what I get for supporting the CC business model or whatever. Anyone else seeing this, have a solution, or perhaps Kevin Monahan can chime in?Return to posts indexReport Post •Re: Anybody else running out of memory with CC2015?by Tom Metcalfe on Jun 29, 2015 at 10:10:44 pmYes, I am having this issue too. The new 2015 is using all of my 16 gigs of memory with a very simple project.Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: Anybody else running out of memory with CC2015?by Blaise Douros on Jun 30, 2015 at 12:30:57 amYes, this is the bit that is getting me. On simple projects, it takes a lot longer to happen, but on complex projects, I am having to restart Premiere every hour or so. Maybe a memory leak of some kind. Or maybe it's PP's way of telling me to get off my butt for a couple minutes and stretch my legs :) Glad to know that I'm not the only one. Not glad, obviously, that others are experiencing the issue, since it's a bugger!Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: Anybody else running out of memory with CC2015?by Veronica White on Dec 28, 2015 at 10:01:47 amI ran out of ram 1 min and 20 seconds into a project. I had 2 gigs http://premierepro.wikia.com/wiki/Error:Out_of_memory of memory and decided to try upgrading to 4 gigs to see if that would help. All that happened after I installed 4 gigs of memory is that it took a bit longer before I got the "out of memory" error.I did two things which have made the error go away completely (without changing hardware).1) I render sequence changes much more frequently and don't wait until I have a ton of changes to render2) I went into "my computer" and checked my memory settings. I was shocked to see that, by default, Windows set my page file (virtual memory) to roughly 800 meg even though I had 4 gigs of memory. The standard "rule of thumb" is to have your virtual memory set to twice your physical memory. I went the conservative route and changed my virtual memory to 4096 meg.Once I made the above changes, over 8 months ago, I have not had the dreaded "out of memory" error once. Before making those changes I would get the "out of memory" error every single time I was working with a project in Premiere Pro. Pat M Sherman said: I found two things with this error. On two different machines.1st Machine: The memory was not matched from the manfacturer, so I dropped in 4 sticks of 1GB DDR2 and never saw the error again.2nd Machine: It was a bit different not hardware from what I could muster..
