Dice_py.dll Bf2
Member 2 posts Hey guys, I simply had to do this as a sign of gratitude to my clan buddy in BF2 who helped me sort out my system to play BF2 from patch v1.12 and beyond. I feel I owe it to the rest of the world to help ppl out who had the very same problem that I had. Anyways this is how he solved it. Assume you bought the retail version of battlefield 2, I reckon that the copy you bought would be v.1.02. Now memory.dll is missing from your computer a mistake i realised that i made and probably every other person made was simply to seek out patch v1.12 and apply it. Now, if your G-card is not on the support list provided by Ea/Dice, applying the patch v1.12 would only result in the memory.dll problem and the insane issue where nothing makes sense. To solve this problem, my clan buddy insisted i dloaded patch v1.03 and v1.12 and install them one after the other. To be honest with you, I thought he was just wasting my time and that battlefiled 2 would simply crash again when i try to load a map. Anyways; I indeed dloaded both patches and applied them one after the other. At first i did a test run with v1.03 just to be sure and indeed it worked; this was quite a relief. So I then decided to install or apply patch v1.12 to finish the task. At this point I was filled with anxiety and adrenaline, I began to hope that this whole experiment would work. I load up bf2, attempted a connect to my clan server and watched the map load screen like a nutter. The load indeed started well, then went up to 15% then the wierd 46% then it went on to the clincher; the 65% of [bleep] [a name i dubbed after seeing bf2 crash so many times] so at this point for almost 2 minutes the map loader did not move. I seriously thought bf2 would crash again and I resigned to that possibility; but then something ext

It is not needed as the patch already contains this fix. I found this fix. I tested it and it work's! PB dose not kick you or anything I have not had 1 crash since I tested on my 4 computers with 32 bit & http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr-bf2-support/39649-i-found-fix-memory-dll-error-vista-32-64-bit-users.html 64 bit. Thank you for making this a Sticky. I found a fix for the "memory .dll error" that kicks some of us out to desktop every 2 or 3 map loads on certain servers, some more than others but from what I have been reading this is a problem for a lot of people running Vista, myself included. The problem is that the BF2.exe is trying to use more memory than it is allowed to, this fix enables the BF2.exe to use more than it's current limit of 2gb (physical and PF together) for the second or two it needs it during certain map loads. Here you go (You'll need to be an Administrator) First, you'll need to grab and install Visual Studio C++ Express from Microsoft. It's free so don't worry. Once installed, you'll need to update it, also make sure u have latest game patch installed. Backup the bf2.exe file, just in case. Now, click Start ->Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition ->Visual Studio Tools ->Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v448/sopdelta/C1.jpg (Don't left click on VS 2005 command prompt though, right click on it and then click "Run as Administrator" **If you don't run it as Administrator the fix will not work** Then, once the black Command Prompt box is open, navigate to your battlefield 2 directory. If you don't know how to navigate in DOS, follow th
