Word Bottom Margin Too Big
Span 1 Week Ago Last Post by Gina_4 0 gopher825 8 Years Ago I had the exact same problem. I looked for ways to fix microsoft word margins not printing correctly this problem on the internet. The most common thing you will find is to delete the Normal.dot template or make a new template. however those didn't work. I was getting really frustraged but I finally was able to find a way http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_word-mso_other/vertical-ruler-not-working/b1d56baf-6b18-42c9-ba04-fdc9f028e7e1 to fix the margin problem. Here's how: Open word. Then click on help at the top of the screen. Then click detect and repair. A window will pop up that has two options on it. the important one says, "discard my custom settings and restore default settings." make sure that box is checked then hit start. after that just follow the directions and hopefully it will fix your margin problem. BTW, the way that I solved this problem was that delete the picture or move it to other page (this will do). After that, return to the page with this problem, click on it and then choose tab "Page layout" >>> "wrap text" >>> "In line with text". When that is done, a box will ap

You click on it to see, and all of a sudden the text moves outside the margins? An indent sets the distance between the left and the right margins. It is also used in bullets and numbering to ensure that the text lines up properly. Tabs come into play when you press your Tab key on your keyboard. Pressing the tab key moves the cursor ½ an inch by default; however, you can change the way tabs behave. The Left and Right indents control the space between the paragraph and the left or right margin. The First Line Indent is used to indent the first line of a paragraph, similar to how you might use a tab. The Hanging indent controls how the text of a paragraph lines up under the first line. This is usually adjusted when working with bullets or numbering when text does not line up properly.Indents are displayed on the Ruler. If you your Ruler is not showing at the top of the document, click the Ruler checkbox on the View tab, in the Show section.
