I just want to know if anyone else has such a problem and ig there is a solution before upgrading all the firmware. Thanks in advance! Log in to reply. Hi Alexander, I can give the log from the MM but I don't have access right now to the HW and FW VPD. I can tell you this though - 8853 are the BladeCenter Servers no matter one or two processors and with or without FC adapters. Most of them have such adapters - Q-logic 2 port. 8852 are the BladeCenter Chassis with 4 power modules, two management modules, two FC switches and two Ethernet switches - respectively Brocade and CISCO. The firmware levels are as follows: for the blade servers - BIOS 1.01 with the corresponding BMC and diagnostics; for the Chassis - i don't remember exactly but it is dated somewhat between 07.09.2006 and 28.09.2006. They will just suddenly reboot. Checking online, the only issues I can see that result in this consistently are basically loose PCI cards (and IBM's solution is to send a box of rubber bump-stops and such). I've reseated everything uncorrectable bus error and everything is tight...I'm confident that is not the issue here. UEFI has been updated already. Any ideas what else might cause this?
