current Java stack. The exact stack is tied to the root cause and the version of Oracle Forms. This is due to the differing package structure used for the applet class files in the different releases. A.2.2 The frm-92102 java exception JInitiator Java Console If you are using JInitiator and a Java error is encountered then the error will be written to the browser status line. However, this does not show the full Java error stack. You need to look for it in the JInitiator Java console. If you have turned the Java Console on, by checking its option in JInitiator Control Panel Applet on a Windows computer, the JInitiator Console window will pop up when your frm-92104 Form runs in a browser. The JInitiator Control Panel Applet can be found on the Start | Settings | Control Panel option in Windows. If JInitiator's Java console does not appear, you can always invoke it manually from the taskbar tray icon by double clicking it. A.2.3 FRM-92XXX Error Messages While running your Forms application, you may encounter various FRM errors. These errors can be raised by several different conditions. When you receive these errors, you will need to obtain more information to resolve it. In this section we will see some of the common errors that one may encounter and how to resolve them. Broadly speaking, the FRM errors occur due to the following. Configuration Problems: Some FRM errors are raised by configuration problems. For example, the Forms Service is not started, or is listening on a different port to that specified in the HTML file. Typically these errors will reproduce consistently. Forms server process has crashed: The majority of FRM errors that occur after a successful connection has been established and the form started, are due to the server crashing. Once the server process has died, then the client cannot continue running - the applet has no life of its own, and it cannot continue to run without being able to communicate with the server process. These errors are often difficult to diagnose: the problem ma

I have to restart the forms server because it would show oracle forms the same error when try to connect agin Is there some limit on the number of sessions which can be opened after which the connectio is not allowed because all of my forms open in a new session . on other server same application runs fine without failing. but I am not able to figure out the configuration difference Thanks Sapan member.forums@gmail.com, Aug 13, 2009 #1 tyro Forum Genius Messages: 368 a network error Likes Received: 20 Trophy Points: 260 Location: India Hi Unfortunately there are hundreds of reasons for which FRM-92102 may occur. You may like to go through Metalink Note no 604633.1. which lists all the possible causes. However from what you say it seems this is a problem with your session timing out. Rather than using HEARTBEAT to handle session timeout, it is possible to use a "TimeOut Bean". This is a PJC (Pluggable Java Component) that can be embedded in your form but requires extra code. The link below gives some example codes. http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/products/forms/index.html tyro, Aug 14, 2009 #2 member.forums@gmail.com Active Member Messages: 16 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 80 Hi Tyro yes, you are right I tried it was due to network getting timed out http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=323306&start=15&tstart=0 and increasing ping interval saved the same Thks Sapan member.forums@gmail.com, Aug 17, 2009 #3 tyro Forum Genius Messages: 368 Likes Received: 20 Trophy Points: 260 Location: India Glad it worked out tyro, Aug 17, 2009 #4 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.)
