I have run into a few problems though that I need help with. I can not install other rpms thats for fedora e.g packages that gets my printer running. when I try to install them I get failed to get a TID: A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.PackageKit.Transaction" member "SetLocale" error name "(unset)" destination https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=475200 "org.freedesktop.PackageKit") (0). Does anyone know how fix this problem? I have looked on the fedora forums to see if anyone has solved the prob there but all I can find is other people with the prob but no solution. Also with fedora 10 I have another prob that I found out while trying to solve this last prob. I tried to log in as root but I get a message saying that fedora can not authenticate the https://linuxformat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9154&p=67591 user but I can log in a terminal with su - and my root password. has anyone else had probs logging in as the user root in fedora 10? and how do I fix this?
