is about 1/2-3/4 of the first page coming out of the exit rollers. There is also a second page coming out just about 1" from the rear of the fuser. There http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/60644 is no actual jam that I can see. No bits of paper stuck anywhere. I http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/lexmark-t630-laser-error-202-paper-jam.3425454/ can pull the two pages out, resume printing, and it will continue to a few more pages and then jam. My first thought is that it might be the Exit Sensor, or the Narrow Media Sensor on the fuser. Do this sound like a logical conclusion? If so, is there any way to test these sensors? They do not seem to paper jam be broken or physically stuck in any way. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide. Respond to this 0 202 is indicating a jam at the fuser exit sensors there are 2 located on the outboard side of the fuser. First I would check to see if anything is blocking one of these sensors. To gain better access remove the rear feed asym (remove the 2 screws located in the lower cut-out 202 paper jam section and release the 2 tabs located at on each side of the feed asym. Now remove any foreign objects. If none are found use a paper clip unwound to gently activate each flag toward the rear of machine. If all is working well print several test pages and observe the paper as it reaches this point. If it stops before striking the flag check to see if your paper size matches the tray size. Look in the paper menu after you turn machine off and is in ready state. If all seem right, check to make sure the sensors are seated properly in there housings (each will have 4 tabs locking them into place). If I read correctly in your post it sounds like one of the flags may be sticking when printing. The sensor flag on the right is known to become dislodged when paper is pulled past it manually. It also never hurts to try printing from another paper source such as the front drop down tray. Also good idea to clean any dirty pick up roller with a damp lint free cloth. by aerolaser on Feb 10, 2009 at 1:06pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment Lexmark Optra Optra Buy discount ink Buy this printer More Lexmark questions © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc. printer when a print job was sent. Reading the front panel's message and the manual's directions said "error202, paper jam, open rear door" and remove the offending media from the paper path. Opening the door revealed nothing. Removing the toner cartridge showed nothing near the fuser, and removing the paper tray and lifting the printer at an angle showed no errant paper that might be causing the error from underneath. Anyone have any experience with this printer and have any suggestions as to how to proceed? Thanks, -- Jan Alter or 12.pa.us Jan Alter, Feb 21, 2008 #1 Advertisements Jan Alter Guest Problem solved. It took a tech from the school district to locate and remove the hidden crumpled paper that was buried behind platons. -- Jan Alter or 12.pa.us "Jan Alter" <> wrote in message news:CE5vj.9361$kz3.1823@trndny03... > This error came up today on the school's T630n Lexmark printer when a > print job was sent. I'll bet you bought it from a member of the church of compatible paper! Tony "Jan Alter" <> wrote: >Problem solved.
