It is likely that Windows XP does not support the drivers perfectly and thus causes errors (Illegal Media Source means that it tries to fetch paper from a tray that doesn't exist). PCL5e has been around for longer and doesn't have such issues. Bottom line: use PCL5e over PCL6 if you encounter problems. share|improve this answer answered Aug 13 '13 at 7:51 Sašo 1,1991611 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote It could well be drivers, however most posts I've seen suggested you shut-down your printer and cold start it up (remove AC power) This worked for me. share|improve this answer answered Feb 11 '15 at 9:33 user269836 1 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
