You can disable this in the web.config by removing /base from the reserved permission denied to create extension postgis paths list. Copy Link Yoann 8 posts 20 karma points Jul 09, 2009 @ 11:26 0 That was the problem, thanks to you. But I don't understand why it's working with /base/home.aspx and not with /base/home/page.aspx Copy Link Per Ploug 864 posts 3363 karma points admin core hq Jul 09, 2009 @ 11:29 1 Because /base tries to match a url to a serverside method and no matter what it always needs a url with a certain amounts of '/' in it in to work. So if it just ignores requests if it doesn't have a welformed url. The wiki has an explaination on how /base works, which also explains why some urls get caught and some doesn't http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/umbraco-base Copy Link Yoann 8 posts 20 karma points Jul 09, 2009 @ 11:34 0 Ok, Thanks for your help, I will pay attention to this in the futur Copy Link Please Sign in or register to post replies Write your reply to: Choose a category Using Umbraco and getting started Templates, (partial) views and macros Extending Umbraco and using the API Developing Packages Contributing to Umbraco CMS Umbraco as a Service Umbraco Forms Umbraco Courier Choose version Umbraco v7 Umbraco v6 Umbraco v4 Editor Preview Preview Draft Upload image Image will be uploaded when post is submitted Our.umbraco.org is the community mothership for Umbraco, the open source asp.net cms. There is one version for 4.7.x to 4.9.x and another one for 4.9.x to 7.0.x I tried to install uMobile on an existent 4.7.0 site and it's working fine. There is a method to test if all is ok and uMobile is correctly installed on the server: http://
/base/uMobile/Hello Please try this method and report the output here so we can help you https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/umobile/bug-reports/48796-Site-not-found out. Regards, Enric. Copy Link Fredrik Esseen 551 posts 673 karma points Mar 03, 2014 @ 16:36 0 I tested the REST call and got the following answer: Extension not found or permission denied I double checked in the bin catalogue and the dll is there and its the right version of your package Is it something more than the dll file I should be looking for? Could it be something with my permissions? I haven't had any problems with that before on the site. Copy Link Enric León 19 posts 460 karma points c-trib Mar 03, 2014 @ 19:44 0 If the package is correctly installedyou should be able to get response from the base methodyourdomain/base/uMobile/Hello.You should see this kind of response:http://demo.lecoati.com/base/uMobile/Hello On the other side, uMobile is packaged on only one dll, so the only requirment for uMobile to work is to have the assembly loaded. This is not a permission problem, is more that the assembly is not loading for some reason. uMobile has no initialization of any kind, and is build on the top of static base calls, so it's difficult to think on the reasons that would make this call to fail. You could try to remove the package, installit again manually and restart the site on IIS.
