NOTE: when server get booted up i am getting a pop up saying ERROR LOADING reg.dll , THE SPECIFIIED MODULE DID NOT FOUND.Is this will affect my cluster service from starting up Karry, Jul 26, 2006 #1 Advertisements MarkFox Guest Not sure if http://www.winvistatips.com/threads/error-1053-cluster-service-didnot-respond-in-a-timely-fashion.777131/ this is the cause but we had an issue where the cluster service would not start and it turned out to be too many tmp files in C:\Documents and Settings\ClusterServiceAccount\Local Settings\Temp\. The looked like cls***.tmp. There were over 65 thousand of these files and there is a limitation in Windows that prevents this from working. Once these tmp files were deleted the service started up fine. ClusterServiceAccount is the account your cluster service is running as. Needless to say I check this directory often. -- Mark "Karry" wrote: > Dear All, > > I am in a bit critical situation. We are having a two node clustering which > holds the project file server on it.Now we are facing a issue with the > seconday node.the service was stopped.Actually the problem is the server got > restarted on its own. After restarting the cluster services is not starting > up.It throwing me the error 1053 & event ID was like 1234 with category > 128.But i checked the cluster service account has all type of access as > mentioned in the document. It was working fine till YDAY.but after the server > got restarted it service got stopped.Sug

When the cluster service won't start it is usually caused by not being able to see the other node. Oliver "Clayton Sutton"
