Sql Server Setup Has Encountered The Following Error No Feature Were Uninstalled

The requested features may not be installed..." The following is left in Programs: Microsoft SQL Server Browser Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup (English) Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) In the Startup programs I have: Import & Export Data (64-bit) as well as everything in the configuration tools folder: configuration manager, error and usage reporting, installation center Is there any way around this problem? Sunday, August 14, 2011 3:32 PM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote I have actually reinstalled my whole os as I couldn't fully uninstall 2008 R2 and need everything to be working properly. The combination of SQL Server 2005 & 2008 R2 wasn't wonderful. I'd advise anyone just to stick with one version in order to prevent any problems. I've been trying to Unistall SQL completely and re-install a fresh version, my first few installs contained errors. Anyway I'll detail below the problem I'm having removing it, any help will be very much appreciated. I should note I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and I'm trying to unistall the program SQL Server 2008 R2 sql server setup (64-bit) SQL Server 2008 Uninstall problem details Note: Prior to attempting to uninstall this version of SQL Server 2008 listed below I had removed all mention of SQL Server 2008 within Control Panel > Uninstall Programmes In control panel > Uninstall Programmes, I located the “SQL Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)” programme and clicked uninstall/Change When I choose Uninstall/Change, I get a dialogue box asking if I want to 'add, repair or remove', and I click Remove: When I click Remove, I get the Setup Support Rules dialog (just like I do for a new installation), and then when I click OK, I get a dialogue box asking what I'd like to remove, however there is nothing to select appart from a block of unselectable text saying "Redistributable Features": According to the dialog, nothing is going to be removed (usually you see actual features with checkboxes).
