looked at the Intuit support forums and it seems that the reason could be one of two things: either my system date is wrong or I have two versions of the same QB software installed http://payroll.intuit.com/support/kb/1000101.html at the same time. I have checked (and rechecked) my system date and time and they are right. I also dont have two versions of QB installed. I had the US version of QB 2010 installed on this PC before but I have uninstalled it months ago. I have tried to "Repair" QB but that has thrown up its own error, namely error code 1904. The following files fail to register: wrapper.dll, http://forums.quickbooksusers.com/showthread.php?t=41381 QBPrefs.dll and Request Handler. I checked the forums and it seems that the problem lies with MS Visual C++ Redistributable and I downloaded and re-instaleld that. I then tried to repair QB again but got the same 1904 error. Now I have run out of ideas and I would appreciate any help. This has worked in the past. It may also be a windows registry issue from installing and uninstalling US version of QB 2010. __________________ Joe Williams joewilliams@wavelinx.net Piedmont, Ok Joe Williams View Public Profile Find all posts by Joe Williams Bookmarks Digg del.icio.us StumbleUpon Google « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Display Modes Linear Mode Switch to Hybrid Mode Switch to Threaded Mode Rate This Thread You have already rated this thread Posting Rules You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts BB code is On Smilies are On [IM
SERVER - FIX : Error 15023: User already exists in current database. February 15, 2007Pinal DaveSQL, SQL http://blog.sqlauthority.com/2007/02/15/sql-server-fix-error-15023-user-already-exists-in-current-database/ Performance, SQL Server, SQL Tips and Tricks121 commentsError http://techierambles.blogspot.com/2009/06/quickbooks-pro-2009-error-15203-73952.html 15023: User already exists in current database.1) This is the best Solution. First of all run following T-SQL Query in Query Analyzer. This will return all the existing users in database in result sql server pan. USE YourDB
GO
EXEC sp_change_users_login 'Report'
GO
Run following T-SQL Query in Query Analyzer to associate login with the username. ‘Auto_Fix' attribute will create the user in SQL Server instance sql server error if it does not exist. In following example ‘ColdFusion' is UserName, ‘cf' is Password. Auto-Fix links a user entry in the sysusers table in the current database to a login of the same name in sysxlogins. USE YourDB
GO
EXEC sp_change_users_login 'Auto_Fix', 'ColdFusion', NULL, 'cf'
GO
Run following T-SQL Query in Query Analyzer to associate login with the username. ‘Update_One' links the specified user in the current database to login. login must already exist. user and login must be specified. password must be NULL or not specified USE YourDB

printers, phones, Linux, Adobe Creative Suites, and plenty of other hardware and software. Hopefully some of the solutions I find throughout the workday are useful to you as well Monday, June 22, 2009 Quickbooks Pro 2009 error 15203 73952 We decided to use Quickbooks for a company setup at work, but after installing and getting to the final step to create a new company, we kept getting an error code 15203 73952 and Quickbooks would close. We couldn't get a company file created because of this and without one, there was no point in having the software. The machine was a fresh install of Windows XP Pro, so I turned directly to Intuit's Quickbooks support. The solution, according to them, is to open one of the sample company files installed with the application. Once the sample company file has been opened, go to File->New Company... and set up your new company. It should take you through the Wizard/Interview process again, but this time it should complete correctly at the end. However, this means that if you've already filled out the information from before, you probably will need to do it again. Apparently there is some glitch with the new company setup which can be bypassed by first opening the sample company file and then choosing to create a new company file from there while the sample company file is open.It sounds like a quick software update would fix that, but maybe the issue isn't causing problems for many other than me since I didn't really find any other information about it on the web. If you're having the issue and find this post helpful, leave a comment and let them know that this is something they should really take care of. If this workaround fixes it for everyone, great, but it's still a programming bug that is a nuisance.
