Dbnetlib Connectionopen (connect()). Sql Server Does Not Exist Or Access Denied. 2012

Is that mean the application server has did NOT have enough Memory?= and which in turn causing failure to connect SQL Server?Are the errors dependent or they separate?Please advice. Server > SQL Server Data Access Question 0 Sign in to vote sql server does not exist or access denied sql server 2008 r2 I did a SQL 2000 migration from SQL 2000 SP3 to SQL 2000 SP4 on a different hardware. I sql server does not exist or access denied sql 2000 have moved the database to a second instance which is listening on port 1435 and I able to telnet 1435 from the the web and app boxes and also the connection http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic978347-146-1.aspx string seems to be fine with the user credentials. Data source = 'servername\instancename,1435' But still I am getting the error below when clicking on the url [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. (-2147467259) can someone please advise what could be the issue as I have checked the FW and it looks fine.
