you by any help. The simple steps like to clean the register and delete and folder/files I've tried. But actually I'm not a SQL programmer/advanced user. I just need to install it to create automated DB from the other package (SolidWorks EPDM from 3DS). I can't install such application unless I have the SQL installed with the IIS too. Thank you very much by any help. Best regards. DETAILS ATTACH A FILE EDIT THIS ITEM Assign To Item can only be reassigned when it is active. This is also the suspect of this debacle. As you're perusing your setup log from joeqwerty's answer keep an eye out for this clash, even if you haven't (or even don't think you have) installed the 32-bit client tools. share|improve this answer answered Jan 22 '10 at 15:52 squillman 33.3k868126 add a comment| up vote 1 down vote Try looking at the SQL Server setup logs. Here's an excerpt from sqlmag.com on where the log files are located: You might already be familiar with the SQL Server 2005 Setup log, which is located at %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Summary.txt. If the summary.txt log file shows a component failure, you can investigate the root cause by looking at the component’s log, which you’ll find in the %Program-Files%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Files directory. share|improve this answer answered Jan 22 '10 at 15:19 joeqwerty 83.5k247122 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
