They answer me the following: "sometimes earlier during an upgrade or build, this went wrong if not exists (select 1 from master..sysmessages where error = 50001) begin print "sp_addmessage 50001, 1, ""rollback trigger with raiserror""" print "go" end if not exists (select 1 from master..sysmessages where error = 50002) begin print "sp_addmessage 50002, 1, ""rollback trigger""" print "go" end Thats why the error appears, the messages can be added manually."So now I know what caused the error. The Tlog backUp process was taking longer sql server time, so I tired to change the recovery model of the DB to simple instead, but it did not let me change the model. since then I am getting the following error number with no error msg. Finally I was able to take Tlog backup and shrink the file. Now the DB is in simple recovery mode.
