Windows Could Not Start The Sql Server On Local Computer Error Code 126
Manager. After a change I have to stop and start SQL. After repeating this several times, I get this error message:The SQL Server (SQLSTARR) service terminated with service-specific error 126 (0x7E).I've rebooted with no change. Try uninstall and intalling it. Did you installed the IIS. In SqlServer 2005 CD there will be two more packages. One will be prerequiste and another will be Management studio. First install the prerequiste then the managementstudio.If you have any issues let me know. If your installing SqlServer 2008 you need to install windows intaller 3.5. There will be no problem in installing SqlServer after Visual studio installation.
