When I run a RESTORE DATABASE command I get the error: Msg 3243 - The media family on device 'c:\family.bak' was created using Microsoft Tape Format version 1.48. SQL Server supports version 1.0. I can't see why its giving me this http://www.officerecovery.com/error-opening-mssql-file-fix/ as the version on SQL on both machines is the same (except for Web vs Express) I did a query to find the production version and other stuff and got this returned Server:10.0.2531.0, SP1, Web Edition (64-bit) LocalMachine: 10.0.2531.0, SP1, Express Edition with Advanced Services (64-bit) Anyone know why its not working?
