Best regards Alfredo Benni Wednesday, October 20, 2010 8:14 PM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Hello, It seems the Enterprise Edition is SQL Server 2008 R2 (version 661), and you are trying to attach/restore a database created on R2 to SQL Server 2008 SP1 Developer Edition (version 655). Those are two different releases; databases created on SQL Server 2008 R2 are of higher version microsoft sql server and cannot be used on a lower version of SQL Server. Use Import and Export Wizard to export the database from the SQL Server 2008 R2 instance to the SQL Server 2008 instance. Hope this helps.
