Oct 18, 2012 at 07:09 PM Dushi2426 Do you mean that you are transferring a SQL login from another machine and have been given the SQL encrypted password? Oct 18, 2012 at 07:24 PM SirSQL When i careate new log-in in SQL Server as sql authentication so i've to entered encrypted paaword 'K6WTP'. Than user can change in when first use of time. Oct 18, 2012 at 07:29 PM Dushi2426 So your create login statement would be CREATE LOGIN NewUser WITH PASSWORD = 'K6WTP' MUST_CHANGE, CHECK_POLICY = OFF; I really do not recommend this though, your user will have the ability to change the password to 'P' which is not at all secure. You should use a better initial password and leave the policy checks in place.
