VS2010 as a client for a TFS instance. I created a workspace, and need to map a TFS directory to a local directory - let's call the local directory "D:\aaa\bbb\ccc\ddd". When I navigate to "Manage Workspaces" and click "edit" to change the local directory to this path, I am presented with the following error: 1 This error occurs when I try to map: "D:\aaa", "D:\aaa\bbb", "D:\aaa\bbb\ccc". Now, if I create a folder called: "D:\aaa\bbb\ccc1\ddd", sql server error: 18054, severity: 16 the mapping works, and I do not receive this error. Can anyone help? I've been pulling my hair out for about a day over this. Thank you. [EDIT01: I tried mapping all other folders under the D:\ drive, and only one other folder fails the mapping. I receive the same error as with "D:\aaa\bbb\ccc\ddd" ] sql-server tfs error-handling share|improve this question edited Jun 19 '12 at 18:06 abatishchev 57.1k56215354 asked Mar 18 '11 at 18:22 a developer 1631311 closed as off topic by abatishchev, casperOne Jun 21 '12 at 12:41 Questions on Stack Overflow are expected to relate to programming within the scope defined by the community. (eventID 18054) up vote 1 down vote favorite Recently I've replaced a sql server sql server (2008R2). I've reinstalled hosted apps and restored backups of databases. All seems to work as expected except that these events are shown in the eventlog : id 18054 in MSSQLSERVER Error 150010, severity 16, state 96 was raised, but no message with that error number was found in sys.messages. If error is larger than 50000, make sure the user-defined message is added using sp_addmessage I can get the message from the old server using select * from sys.messages where message_id='150010' sql server error Now I'd like to know how to copy all the msg with id > 50000 on the new server? Do I have to restore a backup of the master db ? sql-server migration maintenance share|improve this question asked Jul 19 '13 at 8:24 Loïc MICHEL 1719 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted Since you can still access the old server run something like this, save the output to a file and run that into the new server. You may have to adjust the varchar lenghts or the quotes for your messages but it's what I used for a recent migration. select 'exec sp_addmessage ' + convert(varchar(6), message_id) + ', ' + convert(varchar(6), severity) + ', ''' + text + '''' from sys.messages where message_id > 50000 share|improve this answer answered Jul 23 '13 at 15:17 Bruce 28613 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service. I followed Kevin Holman's instructions step by step and ran into the same problem he was noticing after the move. The error I got was: Error 777971002, severity 16, state 1 was raised, but no message with that error number was found in sys.messages. If error is larger than 50000, make sure the user-defined message is added using sp_addmessage. So I followed the steps he took which did not solve my problem. I still got these errors in the log. But there is another way to fix this - here is my solution to the problem: Login to your SQL Machine Insert SCOM 2007 disc Navigate to D:\SupportTools\AMD64 (or whatever your cd drive and your platform is) Run DBCreateWizard.exe On the Database Information page choose your existing OperationsManager database and clear the "Create New Database" checkbox Fill in all other information according to your environment Finish the wizard This will take a few minutes. After that the problem should be fixed. Category: SC Operations Manager, SQL Server Post Tagged with dbcreatewizard, Operations Manager, SQL Server ← Previous Post Next Post → 2 Responses so far. Saurabh Roy says: May 3, 2013 at 06:51 Hi Norman, This article relates my issue. Thanks for posting 🙂 However, one question. Will there be data loss?? suppose if the DB is already functional n we happen to you the above method. Will it not reset the tables too? Norman Bauer says: May 4, 2013 at 10:56 Even if I did not experience any problems or data loss I would always recommend taking a backup and being prepared for such events. What I think happens is that the wizard will only recreate any missing parts. Leave a Review Click here to cancel reply. Name (required) Email (required) Message
