to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 53) I have a SQL 2000 instance, and a SQL 2008 R2 instance, running on Windows Server 2008 R2. The sql 2000 instance is functioning correctly, as is the management studio. I can connect to other SQL 2008 servers, just not my local one. Named pipes andTCPIP are both enabled. The SQL Browser service is running, as is the SQL Server service. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
