That matters when you connect from a different machine. So let's focus on how you connect from Visual Studio? Can you include a screenshot. There is some puzzling information in your post. I assume that your machine name is CEO-PC and not CEO-PC/SQLSERVER? When you connect to a named instance, you should use a backslash (\) as the separator, not a forward
