Not associated with a trusted sql server connection Error Message When starting an ArcSDE service using an SDE schema, one of the following SQL Server #18452 error messages may be returned: "Login Failed. Not associated with a trusted sql server connection.""Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication." Solution or Workaround To resolve this issue, reconfigure SQL Server's authentication mode.SQL Server 2005 or 2008: ▪ Go to Start > Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2005(8) > SQL Server Management Studio. ▪ In the Object Explorer, right-click the Server and select Properties.▪ In the Server Properties dialog box select the Security page. ▪ Under Server authentication, select SQL Server and Windows Authentication Mode.
