It works for Firefox and IE. When I uninstall the NTP component, I am able to access the site using Chrome. I attempted to create a firewall rule to allow the site but it didn't work. Not sure if I did it correctly. I've attached a screenshot of my policy. What else can I try besides uninstalling NTP for all client machines? firewall.png (181 KB) Reply Subscribe View Best Answer RELATED TOPICS: Symantec Endpoint Protection - Network Threat Protection what a piece of junk!!! symantec endpoint protection - network threat Symantec Endpoint Protection - Why do we bother?   1 2 Next ► 45 Replies Serrano OP _Brian Jan 6, 2015 at 3:35 UTC What does your SEP Traffic and Security log show at the time of the block? Browser IPS only works for IE and Firefox, not Chrome. Are you sure that Chrome doesn't have some sort of malicious site block built in that may be causing this? If SEP was the problem, I would expect access to not work with IE of Firefox as well. This seems to point more towards a Chrome issue. 0 Serrano OP garyleung Jan 6, 2015 at 3:59 UTC _Brian wrote: What does your SEP Traffic and Security log show at the time of the block? I can access that site using Chrome on my home PC. Obvious difference is that I don't have SEP installed on it. 0
