Unknown error occured (1015)". The error unknown error usually takes place when you don't put your device in DFU mode properly before downgrading. What should you do in that case? How to fix iTunes error 1015: Note: First you need to download: iREB (latest version here) Latest version of iTunes Corresponding firmware for your iPhone you want to restore to (download links) Latest version of redsn0w (link) Step One: Close iTunes and run iREB.
