If on a Mac, redownload iTunes 8.2 and reinstall it If on a PC, remove iTunes, Quicktime and the MobileMe Control Panel completely. Restart the computer, and reinstall all three. I went to the Mac site and they suggested to use a different USB port. Preferrably "On Board" and I did. Everything works great now.
