I don't use Outlook for mail at all, only for contacts & calendar. So firstly, when setting up the new profile, which option is correct when Mail (under Control Panel) asks me to set up as new or existing Email, or new or existing directory & address book? There are further options within each of those choices, but I'll get to them once I know the correct one to choose.Secondly, my main issue is that I have tested a couple of these options & each time once the profile name is set up, & I go to Properties/Data Files/ to add my data file, I get the error message "An unknown error occurred, error code: 0x8000ffff". The profile already has a default data file attached to it, without me having added anything, and I also cannot remove this - tells me because this is the default file, cannot delete - I should add a new data file, make it default, then delete this one. But of course I can't add a new data file.Using Windows 7 & Outlook 2003.Thanks
 Create an account or sign in to comment You need to be a member in order to leave a comme
