What was my fix for iTunes 4450 error? - a different CD-R brand! I was burning with Memorex's 52x CD-R... when I switched to a Maxell's CD-R, the error was gone! And I left the burn speed at http://www.marshu.com/design-computer-tips-tricks-fixes-itunes-4450.php 'maximum'. It did it in about 4minutes. Another vistior mentioned a TDK CD worked as well to fix 4450 error. Good luck! Another 4450 iTunes error fix - capacity of your CD. For example, if total amount of memory your songs need are 750mb, but your CD is only capable of writing 700mb, you will get error 4450. In fact, when I wrote this article about switching the brands, what may have happened is that the Maxell's CD-R brand has bigger memory capacity... 800mb vs 700mb. The only problem with this, is that there isn't any FREE registry cleaners that can pick up the iTunes glitch, so if you are wanting it fixed, its probably best trying to borrow some software off of someone you know that works in the IT profession or take your computer to a Professional PC techie'. In other cases (very rare tho) it can be caused by a failing DVD/CD burning device, in which will over time need replacing! Hope this information has been any use to anyone! Eventually found out that these drivers are native to windows and its best for them to be installed by the OS on boot up. So uninstalled, and rebooted - no success still had 4028 error. 2. Tried all the various methods of reducing burn speed, switching off CD text etc etc and there were a lot
