Does telnet work if you disable SELinux? I assume you attmepted to telnet from the RHEL system itself and that worked. Can you ping the RHEL system from the XP system? I typed in ftp>open 192.xxx.x.xxx (my IP address). I got an error message: connect :Unknown error number. Even with the firewall and Kaspersky disabled, the problem continues.I then installed the Filezilla client (not the Server), but still could not connect.I have looked over the computer to make sure all ftp options were checked. This included checking the “ftp” in the Internet Information Services under Window Components. (I do note that under Administrative Tools, the ISS does not show up).Is there anywhere else in the computer that could be causing the problem or an option that I should investigate?Help is appreciated. You'll only get a response if you have a FTP server running on the target machine. _________________### BEGIN SIGNATURE BLOCK ###No support requests per PM!
