, Lync > Lync 2010 and OCS - Lync Clients and Devices Question 1 Sign in to vote Hi, I have an issue related to Office h&b 2013 and Lync 2013. Office h&b is installed on many computers, and we are deploying Lync 2013. In Lync 2013 it's http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_powerpoint-mso_winother/visual-basic-errors-in-powerpoint-2010/9d1a81de-0899-4434-a98f-125ede8f3770 possible to share Powerpoint presentation (if you have a Office Web Apps server installed). With a PC using Office Pro 2013, no problem. Powerpoint sharing with Lync 2013 is working. With a PC using Office H&B 2013, I have a message : "XXXXX.pptx couldn't be converted for presentations because Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is not installed on this computer. Please https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/lync/en-US/3cf4f93e-3e98-4a72-aa6a-83e92408837c/message-error-visual-basic-for-applications-vba-is-not-installed-office-home-business-2013-?forum=ocsclients install VBA and try again." VBA is installed and usable in all Office applications. Office H&B is a click to Run installation and doesn't permit to add or remove features. Lync 2013 custom install permit to choose the installed features. VBA is already installed. I searched in many forums, including this one, and... no answers, or better say, no good answers. Because : - It's not possible add VBA from Office H&B 2013 install. - Repairing Office does not solve the problem. Any Idea ? Thanks for your help ! In that i am using macro programming (VBA). I am getting the following error while run the macro. Err.Number= -2147024809 (80070057) but my concern is not with error Because i want to catch this error and base on this error i want to perform some action. Thats why i try to code like this for error handing code: OnError Goto Err: 'some code Err: If Err.number = -2147024809 (80070057) then 'do something end if Resume next So bascially if i write error number in this way then its not allow it. it gives error. and major thing is when error occurs sometime it did not go to "Err : ". It just pop-up error with "End" and "Debug" options. vba powerpoint powerpoint-vba powerpoint-2007 share|improve this question edited Jan 27 '12 at 14:03 Jean-Francois Corbett 24k1679114 asked Jan 27 '12 at 11:50 Pratik Gujarathi 27251531 2 Did you see support.microsoft.com/kb/285305 ? –Fionnuala Jan 27 '12 at 11:54 ya but as i mention above i want to catch this error. but it did not go to Err: where my if condition situated. –Pratik Gujarathi Jan 27 '12 at 12:04 add a comment| 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted While it seems to work, I'd be cautious about using a reserved object name (Err) as a label, for one thing. On Error GoTo ErrorHandler ' Your code here ' Make sure you don't hit the errorhandler when there's ' no error: NormalExit: Exit Sub ' or Function, whichever this is ErrorHandler: If err.Number = 123456788 Then ' Take corrective action ' then continue Resume Next End If ' Trap other specific or general errors here ' Then make sure you know where you're going to exit: Resume NormalExit If you need to trap very specific errors that might occur only at certain places in your code, you can also do a local errorhandler: On Error Resume Next ' Some code that might cause problems ' Did it throw the error you're trying to trap?
