769 occurs mainly due to a disabled LAN port, So enabling the LAN port might fix the error 769. If the LAN is not enabled, follow the steps to enable it: Open Network and Sharing Center in Control Panel and there click on Change adapter settings. Start ->control panel -> Network and Sharing Center ->Change adapter settings-> OR Start->setting->control panel->network connection-> In the listed items Right click on the LAN icon and enable it. Make sure Network adapter is enabled. If not, enable the network adapter, Open the device manager Run--> devmgmt.msc On device manager click on the Network adapters and right click the selected network adapter and enable it. Also Update the Driver software currently Installed. Right click the network adapter and click on update the Driver software.
