Try deleting the following files and/or folders in the Windows/SoftwareDistibution directory (the best way is to be in Safe Mode [minimal services and drivers]...if you don't know how to do that, come back to this thread and I fill you in on how): 1. in the DataStore folder - delete DataStore.edb. 2. In the same DataStore folder there is another folder called Logs - delete all the files you see in there; 3. in the Download folder - delete anything and everything in that folder; 4. in the EventCache folder - delete everything you find in there.Upon restarting Windows your Windows Update Temporary directory will be as good as new...sorta. You'll loose your history but any previous successful Windows Updates will still be on your system. When you run Windows Updates again after the fix it will see them and redo everything.GA P35 DQ6 Mb, Intel Wolfdale 8600 3.33Ghz C2D CPU., 4x2Gb Mushkin DDR2 1066 PC2 8500 Ascents Memory Mods., PNY-nVidia GE Force 8800 GTS (640MB), 4-Western Digital Caviar SATA(2) HDD's (internal), 1 EIDE
