It's Error Code 9C48. Installation Status is Failed. It "helpfully" suggests that I may need to restart my computer for this update to take effect. Believe me, I have. It takes forever to shut down while it installs, then when it's turned back on it goes through the whole installation process again, along with a message that updates failed to install. Attached is the screenshot of the Windows Update screen, which shows the file that's trying to update. The problem is that Windows cannot update it. One of the solutions I found online is to uninstall IE9. I could not find it within Programs and Features > Installed Updates. I also tried the steps here found in Microsoft's website: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2579295. I also ran sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r, just to be thorough. I don't know if this is related, but I did have a previous issue, which was solved before running into this issue. The link of that thread is the following: http://www.sysnative.com/forums/wind...p2-32-bit.html. Please share your insights in regards to my computer's issue. Thank you and regards.
