Xml Parsing Error No Element Found In Oracle Apps
for my new site. I added ASP.NET 4 ISAPI and CGI restriction in IIS. Now when I browse any pages of my new site I get this error in FireFox(XML Parsing Error: no element found location:.....) and this one in IE(HTTP 500 Internal Server Error...) I don't have any problem with published site on my computer.(my computer is Win 7 and has IIS7 too) Is there any setting that I forgot it? XML Parsing Error: no xml parsing error no element found iis 7 element found Jun 30, 2006 10:48 AM|delorenzodesign|LINK Nothing has changed on the server and the same virtual directory has been working fine for months. All other pages that I'll test will work fine, but I'll come across https://forums.iis.net/t/1192349.aspx?XML+Parsing+Error+no+element+found+firefox+iis+7+5+asp+net+4+published a page or two that will give this very helpful error. I've had this happen when something wasn't 'just right' with my database or something else wasn't right, but it's not ever something that's super obvious. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a useful error message that might actually help in debugging the issue. I did actually track down the issue - a referenced UserControl had changed locations in the https://forums.asp.net/t/1004395.aspx?What+causes+this+XML+Parsing+Error+no+element+found web.config, but the 'live' web.config hadn't been updated (good thing I had added some logging to the application). XML Parsing Error: no element found Jun 30, 2006 11:59 AM|delorenzodesign|LINK I was hopeful that there would be a way to catch these types of errors during development as I've only been encountering them once moving applications to another environment, but I agree about your statement about trapping and dealing. XML Parsing Error: no element found Aug 01, 2006 03:16 PM|MattInNH|LINK I'm currently being frustrated by the same error - here's my story. I'm writing an ISAPI to reroute XML file requests (from a SWF) to a different directory/file. I got the implmentation running perfectly on my dev box (WinXP Pro) and am trying to deploy it to a machi

Build everything and set up IIS 7 playing with Authentication values until it worked fine. XML Parsing Error: no element found Location: http://localhost/
