6.0. I've been theming it with some success (pure CSS), however I want to change the "Access Denied" error that drupal access denied redirect to login page is shown when "view node content" is turned off for anonymous users. Currently, an anonymous user visiting the site sees "Access Denied. You are not authorized to access this page." I've searched

through all the files in my Drupal installation and can't figure out where to modify this. I'd also like to be able to change the page title from "Access denied | Example.com" to something else. And it's very easy, and no hacking! But not this way \/ \/ \/ \/ (hacking core is a sin - did anyone mention that ;-) Log in or register to post comments This method doesn't work... jonconnor commented February 26, 2008 at 8:32pm This method doesn't work if you have "view node content" turned off for anonymous users. Please read my original post again carefully. Custom 403 and 404 pages don't work in Drupal if the user can't see node content, since the error page itself is a node. I'd like to change the generic Access Denied message to a custom text. I have created a node (Basic drupal access denied after logging in page) with the custom text and pointed the Default 403 to it in Configuration/System/SiteInfo. Saved it. Logged out. When I go to the site as an Anonymous User, I still https://www.drupal.org/node/227125 get the Default 403 message. Any suggestions? Thanks. Did you do a hard reload on the page to make sure your browser wasn't caching the https://www.drupal.org/node/1248634 "access denied" page it had already "seen"? Is your "basic page" (for 403 message) published and can anonymous users access other "basic page" content (permissions)? These might be the first things I'd look at for the solution to such an issue, but it could be something else. ;-) Hope that helps. See you at the Drupalcon! Did that, but still it doesn't work. It must have to do with permissions. I want the website to be set up so that Authenticated Users can see all content after Registration and Account Activation, but Anonymous Users will see a custom Access Denied message that reads something like "This website is for "? club" members only. Members, please create an account using the Register link in the upper right corner. You will be notified when your account is activated. Thank you." Right now, I have A
