Gpresult The User Does Not Have Rsop Data
0 Sign in to vote Hi folks, I've got a Windows Vista machine and a gpresult access denied windows 7 Windows XP machine in the same OU applying the same GPO and I'm using the same domain account to logon. The account
Gpresult /r Command
is a local admin on both machines. XP - GPRESULT /SCOPE computer > Works fine Vista - GPRESULT /SCOPE computer /v > "ERROR ACCESS DENIED" Why does Vista not like showing me the RSOP for the computer gpresult access denied windows 10 part of the GPO's? Even though I was already logged in with an account that was a member of the local Administrtors group, running the command prompt as administrator also solved it for me. What you are missing is that although you are an admin user and UAC is turned off, you don't have built-in admin rights needed to check other than user level policies with GPRESULT. To check the computer level (/scope computer) you have to use an elevated PowerShell or Command Prompt, whichever you prefer.
