Join them; it only takes a minute: Sign up HTTP 500 Internal Server Error when executing client javascript in any XPage up vote access denied 0 down vote favorite I created in my Lotus Domino server a new application which is totally empty. I then created an XPage, and in it I modified the onClientLoad event, adding this client javascript code: alert("Hola");. When I preview the XPage on the browser, I get an HTTP 500 internal server error. The error on the server's log is this one: 26/06/2013 12:54:27 HTTP JVM: SEVERE: CLFAD####E: Exception thrown 26/06/2013 pizza access denied 12:54:27 HTTP JVM: SEVERE: CLFAD####E: Exception occurred servicing request for: /Pruebajs.nsf/prueba.xsp - HTTP Code: 500 26/06/2013 12:54:27 HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled Exception [/Pruebajs.nsf/prueba.xsp] If I preview the same XPage on the Notes Client, the javascript code is run successfully. I then created a similar application in my local machine instead of in the server, and the javascript code is run successfully, both in the web browser and the Notes client. So it looks like some kind of configuration issue in our Domino server (maybe authorizations?), but we do not know where to look. javascript xpages lotus-notes lotus-domino share|improve this question edited Jun 26 '13 at 11:16 user1082944 asked Jun 26 '13 at 11:11 Carlos Munoz-Juste 72 2 Not sure, but could be a signage issue. Does the person who signed the XPage have server permissions to run code? –Aaron Brake Jun 26 '13 at 11:16 3 In Domino Designer go to Application Properties > XPages (tab) check Display XPage runtime error page. This would give you more details. –Naveen Jun 26 '13 at 11:20 3 stackoverflow.com/questions/10190080/error-500-in-each-xpage go through answers to this question to address your problem. –Frantisek Kossuth Jun 26 '13 at 12:16 3 Thanks, guys. Join Now Hi all, I have a problem with Lotus and I don't know how to solve: when a specific user try to access to Lotus Notes via web mail, he receives the following message: Error 500 HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - You are not authorized to access that database Error 500 HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - You are not authorized to access that database He doesn't have problem with Lotus Notes client and all the other users don't have this kind of problem. I have checked the mail database properties and they seems ok, the "Don't allow URL open" info is not checked. Do you have any suggestion? Thanks a lot Barbara Reply Subscribe RELATED TOPICS: i have some issue with my lotus notes, error csevennotes i dont knowt what is lotus notes error Lotus notes 8.5.2 desktop8.nlk error   6 Replies Datil OP MHB Nov 2, 2011 at 4:17 UTC We had this issue after we did some renames to users to move them to their correct OU in Domino. We had to manually add the renamed user to their database with editor access. 0 Jalapeno OP Barbara981 Nov 2, 2011 at 5:01 UTC The user sign on via web access until Sunday without problem and on Monday he had the access problem without any changes from the Admin point of view. 0 Mace OP George1421 Nov 2, 2011 at 5:26 UTC This may be only a coincidence on timing. But is this server or the client computer having a timezone problem. In the united states last sunday was the traditional daylight saving time (DST) change. Now DST is next Sunday (I realize you are in the EU). I wonder if the server or the client did not have the timezone patch loaded. This would cause a time difference and SSL to fail. This is only an idea. If you check the clock on the server and the client to ensure they are the same. -geo 0 Jalapeno OP Barbara981 Nov 2, 2011 at 6:06 UTC Hi Geo, we had the time changed between Saturday and Sunday, the problem appears between Sunday and Monday and the user told me that the time was fine. Now I have remove and add again the user in the Access Control, I have checked and unchecked the "Don't allow URL open" option on the database file and now the web access works! I am worried because I don't find the reason of the problem. 0 Datil OP Helpful Post MHB Nov 2, 2011 at 6:47 UTC A few things to ch
