Laserfiche Workflow Access Denied 9013
Subscribe Subscribed asked on April 14 I've a few users who are laserfiche access denied. (9013) getting an Access Denied. [9013] error code when trying to change a field and then save a document. This doesn't happen to all users, just a few so far. I've confirmed that the users have the proper rights on the Field, Template, Document, Folder and Volume. I had one of the users do a test. He was able to link a document to the affected document, add his signature stamp and then save the document. When he tried saving the document after changing the selection in the drop down field, he received the following error message: Error Code: 9013 Error Message: Permission denied. Access denied. [9013] ------------ Technical Details: ------------ LFSO: Additional Details: HRESULT: 0xc0042335 (LFSession::ProcessResponse, LFSession.cpp:3748) (LFSO/9.0.2.660) LFMetadata90.ocx (9.0.2.727): Call Stack: (Current) CLFMetadataCtrl::SaveData Additional Details: Exception: 0xc0042335 [9013] (Permission denied.) When I moved the document itself into another folder in which the user had specific rights for, he was then able to change the field and save the document. Any suggestions as to what might be the cause? I am not adding the user in Windows Accounts. I am linking their domain account in Users. 0 0 Post Link replied on December 23, 2014 Either way it is still going to use a windows authentication password for security, unless they don't use a password to login to their computers locally. If their password has expired then it won't authenticate for Laserfiche. 0 0 Post Link replied on December 23, 2014 This behavior with named user allocations and trusteelinked accounts is discussed inKB 1012735. When QF session is manually processed via QF 9.0.0.460, all is ok ( no 9013 error). QF Agent service has LOCAL SYSTEM as the service account and this account has full control of where the documents are processedfrom and where the documents are to be moved. We did a procmon but only access denied is for regedit keys. There is nothing in Event Viewer ( applog/security/system). I have attached the log from QF Agent ( logging was set at diagnostics-verbose). ps: what is the protocol if there is similiar reported entry to LF Answers ?? Do I add to that or do I open a new question, like now? Thanks Valerie 0 0 Post Link Answer APPROVED ANSWER SELECTED ANSWER replied on October 29, 2014 The issue was that in the Quick Fields session, the configuration for unidentified documents was still using Windows Authentication. After that was changed to Laserfiche Authentication, then the session ran fine in Quick Fields Agent. 0 0 Post Link Replies Sort by: Most popular Most popular Oldest to newest Newest to oldest replied on October 17, 2014 • Show version history 9013 is a Laserfiche error code so the "permission denied" message applies to Laserfiche security. What account is the Quick Fields session configured to use when storing documents into the repository? If it's using Windows Authentication, then when you run the session manually in Quick Fields, it's just using the account that you're logged into the PC as. However, in Quick Fields Agent, it would be using the service account, so Local System wouldn't have rights to the repository. You can try changing the Quick Fields Agent service account to a domain account that has rights to the repository. 1 0 Post Link replied on October 17, 2014 HI Alex, thanks for your quick reply. I checked -all of the sessions are run under a Laserfiche Admin account created specifically for Quickfields. We use Laserfiche Authentication for this account and it has full admin priviledges 0 0 Post Link replied on October 17, 2014 Please open a support case so the matter can be more thoroughly invest
