All the usual adprep has been done using adprep32 to the windows server 2003 x32 domain controller. The virtual windows server 2008 r2 x64 server joins the domain ok but when you try and view time skew error between client and 1 dcs the frs event log it comes back with access denied 5. I have checked the ntfrs service and file replication service log access rights and recreated the log in case it was corrupt. Also checked group policy and access rights and all were ok. it is replicating ok but when you run dcdiag the only error showing is at the start when it runs frsevent it cannot write to the log with

Every other test passes fine. I checked to see if there's a services in services.msc for this service (NtFrs), but I can't find one. Does anyone know what might be causing this? 0 Question by:VLib Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 3 Best Solution bymastfun Hi Bro, By default the Administrator at child domain doesn't have privileges at the parent or Root domain. a qualcuno visto che questo problema mi ha fatto diventare matto per quasi 2 giorni!!!!
