Join them; it sql error (1044): access denied for user only takes a minute: Sign up Error #1044 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' to database 'information_schema' [closed] up vote 8 down vote favorite Alright, so here is the scenario I performed a full backup on my mysql server today. http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/database-troubleshooting/mysql-1044-access-denied-error-message Now when I try to import that .sql dump file, I get the error mentioned in the title and it does not load all the other databases.
