In this case -w sets the working directory of the process relative to the remote machine, so obviously "c:\one.txt" isn't right. And -c says to "Copy the specified pr

If you omit this http://forum.sysinternals.com/unc-path-access-denied-psexec_topic6196.html option then the application must be in the system's path on the remote system.I'm not sure why you are getting the access denied message though. Especially since you can execute it when it's not on a network share (The remote PC isn't denying you access to connect to it). It could be because the username and password you are usining may not have access to the network share?Possibly because your are using the local administrator username/password rather than the domain one. If you are on a domain try using the domain administrator username and password instead (or another account that has rights to access the share). for example- psexec \\targetpcname -u domain\administrator -i -d -c -n 5 \\server\sharedfolder\testapp.exe because the remote process is impersonating it will not have access to network resources on the remote system. When you specify a username the remote process executes in the account specified, and will have access to any network resources the account has access to.What is the exact text of the error message? This can be done by passing the -h attribute in the psexec command line. So, you would change your command to: psexec -h -u wsadmin

The code below is ran, as an AutoIt script, from a Windows 7 Pro laptop (32 bit) and "slave1" is the single other netbook (also Win7 pro) on my home network. Problem Def: When the script ("Slave_Get_IP.au3") already exists on "slave1" and no attempt is made to overwrite it psexec executes the script with no issue (fyi: the remote script dumps the remote ip address to the remote file called "REMOTE-IP.txt") . However, when the script is copied ("Slave_Get_IP.au3") to the remote "slave1" prior to executing psexec then when psexec is executed the command console reports the infamous: "access is denied" and the remote script does not execute" How might the copy/overwrite be impacting the process?? expandcollapse popup#include
