Solution You may need to configure IP helper (BOOTP) settings on the routers OR configure DHCP scope options in case you have Cisco DHCP instead of Microsoft DHCP. To Configure DHCP Scope on Cisco Routers, add the following to DHCP Scope: next-server ‘IP Address of PXE Service Point’ filename \boot\x86\wdsnbp.com Abduljalil Abolzahab

I not exactly sure what to put in the field since I store the images on a different drive letter. Im really at a stand still and I am not sure where to go from here. We have WDS installed on Server 2008 R2 but https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/758949-wds-deployment-pxe-errors it's likely the same for Server 2012. Option 66 should point to your WDS server. Option 67 should specify the boot file name. In our environment: Text067 Bootfile Name String Value: boot\x86\wdsnbp.com The drive letter on the server isn't important as you have to setup a share on the WDS server that contains your boot and install images. 1 Sonora OP Jason2721 Jan 27, 2015 at 2:07 UTC Hmm ill give that another go then, not sure if anyone else has some ideas. 0 Chipotle OP HopTroll Jan 27, 2015 at 3:24 UTC Do you have the "REMINST" folder shared on the WDS server? Inside that, is there a "Boot" folder that contains your boot images? For example, if you go \\WDSSERVER\ and press enter does it show the REMINST folder? 0 Sonora OP Jason2721 Jan 27, 2015 at 4:53 UTC The only Reminst folder I see is under c\windows\system32, and it does have the boot folder inside of there, also I am still confused if my 67 string file value is correct. 0 Chipotle OP HopTroll Jan 27, 2015 at 5:20 UTC But is the Reminst folder shared? If it's not shared, the clients won't be able to PXE boot from it. This is why you should do \\wdsserver from a domain joined computer to make sure it's sh

Here is the location of the file that I'm currently having it boot to\\SCCM\SMS_STK\osd\boot\x64\boot.wimAcutally the other admin did say that when he sets it up he wont be needing the unc path, just the filename of the boot file. I've gone through and enabled PXE boot pxe-t04 access violation in SCCM.Currently when my machine tries to boot it gets the following error. Restarted my server. Installed WDS (didnt configure it), enabled PXE boot in the DP. Went through SCCM guides 6 ,7 and 8 again. When I boot my test VM client I get the following error. My clients are on separate vlan then my SCCM server, so I have IP Helper enabled and dhcp handing out the boot file. I think at this point this is my problem. What boot file should I be telling DHCP to hand out to my clients? I had issues with SCCM 2012 OSD/WDS/PXE as described above as I was a little trigger happy instead of troubleshooting Boot
