My Apple devices connect to it's network (WPA/WPA2 security) without a problem. However the android devices including the Defy XT get hung up on looking for the ip address and eventually quit trying. Any suggestions?jben Jul 7, 2013 12:28 PMCorrect AnswerThis is an area with more questions than answers. Here are some ideas ... try 1 at a time1. Settings/Wi-Fi Settings select your Router that works ... then 'Forget' the networkNow try to connect/authenticate with your ExtenderDoes that work?2. I assume you used same SSID and authentication on the Extender ...if not set them to the sameNow try to connect/authenticate with your ExtenderDoes that work?3. The DEFY does not do a good job of 'dropping' a weak signal and re-acquiring the available strong signal (same ssid/WEP/WPA). I have 3 Ubuiqty Uni AP's and had to add an app to drop the weak signal/reaquire the strong. This was to provide the ability to move from one part of my house to another and not be carrying a dead phone most of the time. The fix worked ... but you can not roam from one AP to another while on a WiFi CallThis is outlined in a very long discussion Using Multiple Access Points & the WiFi+ appBottom line ...what worked for me I installed an App 'WiFi Roaming Fix' by Heleron from Google play (which I had previously been using with WiFi+.The default setting will switch to the stronger AP signal when the level drops below -65dbDepending on your Router and your Extender, you may find a post that succeeded or if you post your Ro
