Tags: windows 10 Desktops Last response: 15 December 2015 19:27 in Windows 10 Share motorboatinking 29 November 2015 00:54:53 I'm trying to install ArcGIS for Desktop 10.2 for my wife's homework onto my PC with windows 10. I have a student copy disk with a key from the school. I'm trying to install it, but am getting: "Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. this could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package." I click "Ignore", and get "Error 2350. FDI server error", and then have to abort the install. I have disabled my antivirus and firewall, and then completely uninstalled my antivirus just to make sure. I ran Quick Books Install Diagnostic Tool. I have copied the contents of the CD to my HDD, and tried installing it that way. I've tried running as administrator, and compatibility mode. I get the error attempting to install to my SSD or HDD. We're getting pretty desperate because she has homework to get done. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks. Look to see if Windows Defender is working in the background. Try sfc / scannow prior to turning off Windows Defender(if it's on). I also came across this.
