The Cabinet File Required For This Installation Is Corrupted
and Settings\User\Data aplikaci\Sun\Java\jdk1.6.0\ss160000.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. with "Retry" and "Cancel" buttons. "Retry" doesn't work, "Cancel" aborts installation (after confirmation). File is there, readable. Moving extracted cabs and msi files from above mentioned directory to another one without spaces and diacritics in path name and running msi installer by hand, installation succeeds. STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM : Download quickbooks install diagnostic tool free download Windows offline installer from java.sun.com page. Run it. Select desired packages and continue with installation. EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR : EXPECTED - Installed JDK 6. ACTUAL - During installation, error window pops up with message: Error 1311: Source file not found: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Data aplikaci\Sun\Java\jdk1.6.0\ss160000.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. and "Retry" and "Cancel" buttons. REPRODUCIBILITY : This bug can be reproduced always. CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND : Move unpacked cabs and msi files to directory without spaces/diacritics in it (tried one without both, don't know what exactly of these two is the problem). I asked the submiter to provide the machine that the error could be reproduced. vote I just use Windows 7 as my OS and I want to installl Java JDK 6 update 20. But it can't. It said, "Error 1311, https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-6510994 Source file not found : C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\jdk1.6.0_20\sj160200.cab. Meanwhile, use the Windows Offline Download http://www.java.com/en/download/help/error_installshield.xml After the java JDK update finished, you can reinstall the anti-virus software. Hope it works!
